Since it's now possible to write reviews and see what's been deleted, I'll give it another try. The breakfast is okay, but I didn't think it was good value for money. The seating on the benches is quite uncomfortable, but the atmosphere is nice. The sodas are good. Unfortunately, the service is abysmal—very slow and inattentive. I can't say anything better. Update: This place will stop at nothing, and now they're even claiming they never deleted anything. This was the email from Google about it back then. I subsequently updated my review three times, even one without any text, and that one was deleted too. This place will forever be a no-go for me. If you can't leave an honest review, don't bother.

A lovely breakfast café in a good location. The outdoor seating is very pleasant, there's a wide selection of breakfast dishes, and the food is really delicious.

The café has indoor and outdoor seating and is comfortably furnished. We had a strawberry matcha latte and a cappuccino, as well as scrambled eggs with bacon and the breakfast bun. The food was tasty, but the egg was a little dry and the bun was missing sauce. We found that a bit disappointing.

Friendly service and delicious food! Just keep in mind that in summer only half the outdoor seating is shaded, and it gets quite warm inside as well. However, we were there when it was 30 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, everything was great!

Last weekend, our group visited "Dicke Lilli," which now has a second, adjacent room. The breakfast menu offers a sufficient selection. Breakfast was very good, but not everyone in our group liked it. The bread selection was minimal and could have been more generous. Perhaps they could have let us know if we wanted more. Overall, the price (€52.00 for two people) is now within the normal range. However, due to the traffic, I would only want to sit outside, next to Germany's steepest tram line, for a quick coffee. The service was quick and friendly; they just weren't very good at calculating the bill. The restroom is accessible at ground level. Parking is a nightmare, as is typical for a city center. The first picture shows a breakfast plate for two people.

We went there for breakfast. The food was quite bland; we had the Eggs Benedict. There were raw onions on the avocado cream, which was extremely questionable. The pomegranate seeds were the highlight. The matcha latte was an absolute disaster, both hot and iced. Sweet, poor quality matcha, and just lumps in it… The service was good, and so was the ambiance. But we've always been very enthusiastic and enjoyed going there. This time it was truly disappointing.

We were incredibly lucky to get a table at Dicke Lilli, Gutes Kind for breakfast at the last minute. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant on Breidenbachstrasse can easily be missed when walking down into town, but it immediately wins you over with its charm and excellent, attentive service. The food is delicious, the homemade cakes are outstanding, and the coffee is perfect. We'll definitely be back.
