Very friendly and helpfull staff. Cleanliness in the bathroom was an issue
Dar Bargach is located in the centre of Medina. They offer 24/7 reception and breakfast is included in the price and is amazing! The staff is really helpful! 100% recomendable & best value for money.
Quiet and great value. Wifi was occasionally spotty. Rooms a bit cramped, but good hot water. Fantastic location and wonderful reception staff that helped make our stay nice. Free breakfast was really nice.
Nice & old school. Clean, friendly and charming. Instrumental jazz plays quietly in the background as you eat breakfast.
my stay in the weekend was amazing first the receptionist yeunes was very good the roms was very clean the view in the rooftop was beautiful and the location was closer to ocean 8minutes so i recommended the address
Wonderful people in this facility! The manager Idriss was very helpful in arranging tours, carry out, and any detail like special breakfast dishes. The staff were all friendly and attentive one of them helped us with an issue with a remote. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace which overlooks the harbor and new town we ordered carry out and Idriss arranged to have plates and utensils and wine glasses sent up. Idriss also arranged a WONDERFUL tour of old town the tour guide Mochine is the best! This is an authentic Moroccan space. The property is fairly close to the edge of old town in one of its alleys. There are traditional pictures, the tiles are ornate and the doorways are arched. The stairs do not have a hand railing so you’ll need to take your time going down. Our room was very simple with a queen bed with an open space for a small desk. The bathroom had a small shower, a pedestal sink, a toilet and a small corner shelf that was adequate for toiletry bags. Give it a try. The staff get five stars the facility is modest. My perspective is that I’m visiting Morocco to experience places like this not to stay in an Americanized hotel.
Employees were super nice. The reviews of this hostel on hostel world are fantastic. Accommodated us a night before our reservation was made which was great. We might have gotten stuck with a bad room - musty, bathroom connected to room smelled of sewage all night. We came back in from the medina to find a cockroach crawling on our bags. Carpets and such were old but the bed and sheets seemed clean and nice. Towels provided and also a great breakfast. Wifi reached our room on the 2nd floor just fine. The location is kinda tucked away which can be a blessing in the medina at times but wouldn't walk around at night there. Only stayed one night instead of 3.
Location is inside the old Medina in a quite sketchy alley. Receptionist spoke good English but contrary to reservation demanded payment in cash. Booked a taxi to the airport but at a premium 200Dh. We could not use the showers because "all towels were at the laundry" and no gel or soap was available. The first room we were assigned had in awful smell coming from the toilet. We were given another room. The reservation specified a room with views but apparently that means from the rooftop terrace.
