We were sent to this center on Sunday, August 2nd, from one of the private clinics in Essaouira for a rabies vaccine booster (we had to strictly follow the vaccination schedule and our Day 7 fell on a Sunday). Although it was stated everywhere on the internet that the center is not open on Sundays, they do have an on-call service (perhaps only during the busier summer months?). So, we were able to go there between 11 am and 1 pm. The nurse helped us really well and was very professional. Everything was well documented and we were out again within 20 minutes. Contrary to what is written in other reviews, we did not have to buy a syringe or pay for a copy of our passport. Very satisfied with this service!

Very swift and easy time getting a post-exposure rabies vaccine. As an English speaker we used translate to communicate, and as other reviews say you buy a syringe from the pharmacy around the corner, a photocopy of your passport, then they are very efficient at getting your vaccination sorted🙏 …

It is open on Saturday from 11AM (till 1PM?). Next to the center you will have to make photocopy (2DH) of your passport and vaccination folder. In the farmacy behind the cafe you have to buy a syringe (3DH).

Easy and rapid rabies post exposure vaccination. As many have posted about needing to purchase only the passport photocopy and a syringe I will also add that if you have record of a rabies vaccine schedule this is also handy to have and will need to be photocopied, as you only need 2 follow up vaccines rather than the 4 if you do not have an indate vaccine.

Organised very well. Rabies booster within 15 minutes without any big cost. Only downside was that they wouldn’t give me a preventive vaccine 💉 …
