5 star hotel in terms of reputation but disappointing service in a very basic area. I asked the front desk to break a 100 dirham (approximately 10 USD) bill into smaller notes and was told this was not possible. Having stayed at international 5 star hotels such as Marriott and Hilton in Morocco, this has never been an issue so it felt a bit below the expected standard. While the hotel has a strong reputation, small service details like this do matter to guests.

From the beginning to the end, the service, staff, hotel, experience, has been absolutely perfect. Reception has been very helpful and informative, very responsive. The hotel has a currency exchange which was very easy to do rather than looking for it outside. The manager and staff went out of their way of picking me up and dropping me back to the airport when the taxi i booked did not arrive. Definitely will be coming back!! Thank you everyone at the Palace for making our vacation a unforgettable memory 🙏🏽

Do not go there if you do not look like a movie producer or plainly look rich. Even though you are the same paying customer as the others, you will be treated as second class when it comes to service from the bartender, (who will favor and serve first the rich looking customers) to the restaurant waiter (where you will be served last and cold). Remove the service and the hotel is great and nice.

My friend & I arrived at this hotel feeling sick from food poisoning. The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to accommodate all our needs. We requested a birthday cake for my friend the night before & they delivered it without charge. We recommend this hotel & appreciate their hospitality. Their new renovations also added to the comfort of our stay.

While it came highly recommended it had many flaws. We arrived late, and the air conditioning in our room was broken. It was hot, hot very hot. Technical help arrived 2 times waved their hands around and said it was working. By midnight we went to sleep unresolved. It was very poorly handled. The next day it was not fixed till late afternoon heat. The front desk was unresponsive and there was nothing said other than an apology. I so regretted our time there. So much money, poor service. Very disappointing.”

The grounds, pool area and bar area are spectacularly quaint. The rooms are large and comfortable. Be careful with the showers as we had three separate rooms and water leaked onto the floor every time everyone showered. Highly reccomend finding a local place outside of the hotel to eat dinner. It's a lackluster buffet that resembles the cross between an old folks home and a sub par cruise. Food tasted horrible too.
