Riad Sof Yan, a magical, beautiful place, an oasis of peace where relaxation and kindness are the watchwords. Fabio is available to ensure your holiday at the Riad is the most beautiful you can ever have. All the staff are kind and attentive, nothing is left to chance. The rooms are magnificent, each different from the next, all furnished in Moroccan style where traditional details make the difference. Upon arrival, we found fresh water on the bedside table. The room, cleaned several times a day, is always impeccable. Super-abundant breakfast with excellent Moroccan food, great attention to raw materials and cooking methods. Wonderful water bar on the terrace overlooking the Medina. And continuing with the magic, the Hammam is a must-try in the Riad's spa. I recommend it 100%, Rossella.

No one is there when there's a problem. The riad manager doesn't even answer the phone when he knows the reason for the call! I'm not mistaken about the riad. If you consider your snoring, useless night watchman to be the receptionist, then you're truly a joke!

Before booking your stay at this riad, think twice, because don't expect the hotel manager to contact you if there are any problems. You'll see him without any trouble, but the day there's an issue, he'll disappear and never answer the phone again!

This stay at this establishment was a disaster 🥺😢 For four days, there was a problem with the water: no water, no pressure, or no hot water. There were sewer smells in the room and very strong smells in the bathroom. They always leave the window open to air the place out. I warned them about the problem and asked them to put Airwick odor-control products in all the corners. Horrible 🫣🫣🥺😕 There was a lot of noise at night because all the bedroom windows face the patio. And there was noise from the Bulex water pump room, which sometimes ran continuously for an entire night on the same floor as the other rooms. If you want to stay here, absolutely bring earplugs! I also reported the problem, but apparently it's normal because they didn't react to my comments. There's a noise like someone banging on the bedroom wall, and the water pump is running non-stop. 😡 One day they turned off the pump so they could sleep at night, but then there was no water at all in the morning. The owners disappear when there are problems, and it's impossible to reach them by phone. It's a real shame they don't take all of this seriously. The riad is new, so many things aren't quite there yet. The pool is just for show because it's tiny, and there aren't any sun loungers around it for relaxing. I never saw anyone on the rooftop. Aside from that, the decor is beautiful. Taxis can only reach within 500 meters. So the rest is on foot, and according to them, this part of the medina is best avoided by a woman traveling alone. They told me on the first day to call ahead so someone could pick me up. Which I did. But it was on a moped without a helmet. And there was a guard at night. If there's a problem, and there are some, he said: "I'm not the boss and I'm going back to sleep." And he's the only one there. The spa water was also cold the day I tried it. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. I've been going to Marrakech for 10 years, so I'm not criticizing Morocco at all. It was simply a ruined stay for the first time because of the accommodation. Conclusion: Avoid it.

I shared the Riad's grand opening with a group of friends. The experience was very rewarding. I'm personally involved, as the Riad's interior designer and a friend of the owners, Mounia and Fabio. But I absolutely feel compelled to speak out, promote, and recommend Riad Sof&Yan. The rooms, each unique and meticulously designed, have top-quality mattresses and bedding, as well as two pillows—one feather and one neck pillow. The bathrobes and towels are also high-quality. The Aquabar on the terrace is delightful: a pool with tables and chairs where you can cool off, feet in the water, while sipping a drink. There are no others like it in the Medina. The evening atmosphere, with its play of light, is truly a highlight. Breakfast is amazing, both for its choice of ingredients and presentation. I had dinner in the Riad; Mounia offered us a Royal Dinner, which was excellent. All my friends appreciated it, and after trying other dinners outside, it was voted the best dinner in Marrakech. And then there would be so much more to tell you: the hammam, the heated pool, the possibility of taking cooking classes, the kind staff. So I'll conclude with an "A MUST TRY" and with a "GOOD LUCK MOUNIA AND FABIO".

We found this paradise located in the Medina. What incredible days! The place is beautiful and the details make all the difference. The hospitality of all the staff truly warms the heart! We had the pleasure of waking up listening to the birds, having a fabulous breakfast on the terrace, relaxing by the pool, enjoying an afternoon spa treatment with an amazing masseuse, and having traditional Moroccan food for dinner! Everything is enchanting! We wished our days could have lasted longer. But we will definitely return! I recommend it with complete confidence! SHUKRAN!

A place of great serenity, offering high-quality services, from the food (homemade, freshly prepared) to the tastefully decorated and individually styled rooms, the common areas, and the exceptional massage. Located in the medina, yet no city noise reaches the terrace or the rooms. The birdsong lulls you to sleep and helps you through the morning. The hospitality of the hosts and staff is unparalleled. Honestly, I've rarely experienced anything better.

The only thing left for me after losing so much money booking this hotel at the end of October 2023! I want to share my experience and prevent others from finding themselves in the same situation! I strongly advise against staying here due to the accessibility issues! The city of Marrakech knows how to welcome and respect its guests. I discovered this after having to leave this establishment! Its customer service falls short in every aspect. For the same price, you'll find a better level of welcome and service at other hotels.
