As we were the only Asians around the vicinity, the staff spoke to us in English and welcomed us to pick any seat that we wanted. We took some time to browse through the menu and eventually settled on the “Petit dejeuner” which literally translates to “little lunch” but really means breakfast in French. It is sort of like a set meal and we chose two set meals for about 60MAD (or 6 euros). Both sets had toast or bread with freshly squeezed orange, a choice of hot drinks as well as eggs.

This was local prices as we found the deal to be rather affordable. The food was of good quality as well. We had scrambled eggs with beef along with some excellent cafe latte...

We went to this place due to all the reviews seen. The place is nice with outdoor seating. The food was good but not exceptional. There were not any amazing views but it is shopping area.

We spent a full day on Casablanca while on a long cruise with NCL. Our tour took us to the souk for shopping and we stopped for cafe and water at the Cafe Imperial, just at the entrance to the souk.
We sat outside and had a great time watching the locals. At the cafe, most locals were all men so the mixed couple tourists really stood out. They have two bathrooms inside but you have to stand in line with the crowd.
A great experience and a great spot to people watch.

Just a beautiful Moroccan place where you can have tea (Moroccan, best) or coffee and sit outside and enjoy the authentic Moroccan surroundings. As they do not serve cakes or pastries in general, they will direct their customers to the most famous Traditional Moroccan Patisserie shop which is around the corner. They allow their customers to bring and buy their sweets. Highly recommended

After exploring the charming Habbous district and soaking in its Moroccan culture and mood, we stopped by Café Imperial. The waiter was friendly and welcoming, and although all the tables were full, we managed to find a spot after waiting a bit. It was sunset time — everyone around was enjoying sweets and tea while watching the golden light fade.

We sat near the passage, and I felt a bit uncomfortable at times when people brushed past or when I worried someone might spill hot tea nearby. But once you let yourself relax, you can truly appreciate the moment — the breathtaking view, the calm atmosphere, and the beauty of the sunset over the city.
