Eight and one half years ago, I ate at this restaurant while visiting here. It is nice to see that it is still here. Being vegan, I would like to see more vegan dishes on the menu but the few they do offer are prepared excellently! The atmosphere of the place is both inviting and unique. The service is great. Once again, I enjoyed my dining experience here.

Beautifully decorated, fun atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! Made a booking here and so glad we did! Loved every bite and such a cool setup and space. Music was awesome as well. Menu changes daily, which means I want to go back tonight! Highly recommend!

Lovely meal and a great overall experience. I believe the owner is the French gentleman—really nice atmosphere with great music and a cool, relaxed vibe. Some of the tables are set up higher up (almost like climbing a ladder), which adds a unique touch. No alcohol, but they serve house-made kombucha which I’d definitely recommend. The ingredients were fresh, and the candlelit setting made it feel really special. It’s cash only and very reasonably priced. They also have WiFi. The menu is small and changes daily—around 5 starters, 4 mains, and 1 dessert. I had the beetroot carpaccio and sea bream, and my partner had the calamari croquettes and falafel with Moroccan salads—everything was delicious.

I loved the food, super tasty, and something else that stands out from all the other restaurants. I did live the bread, they were so kind giving us an extra portion. Reservation recommended ☺️

Awesome, inventive and unique menu that changes daily here. Fresh vegetables sourced from local organic farms, great vegetarian and vegan options as well as soup - at least a few each day to choose from. Fresh juices are tasty too. The vibe inside is just perfect, candle lit and cozy, we sat up in the upper room on the second night we went and it was great too - reservations are recommended if you’re going to go later in the evening on a weekend though. Unlike the majority of places in town they actually will take a credit card here too. If you’re lucky and you end up in the upper room, a friendly and well cared for neighborhood cat might jump through the window to join you for dinner. All in all a unique and essential experience for dining in essaouira.
