I had an amazing 6 nights stay at central house. The staff is amazing and very helpful, dorms are nice and clean, they have AC which is a must, the common areas are also very nice. The hostel itself has typical Moroccan architecture which is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller, it can get a bit tricky to meet up people in Marrakech because a lot of ppl come in pairs / groups. However this would be the case in every hostel, and I did end up meeting amazing people.
I stayed here for 2 nights as a single traveller ( 37 year old male) The 4 person room was a great size with one of the better beds i have seen while in a hostel, with great bedding, personal lighting and electrical point for convenience. Plus a curtain for privacy. Great communication with the hostel before i arrived regarding any questions i had. Very friendly welcome and simple check in. All the staff seemed to be happy and always happy to help. Large downstairs seating areas with bar for food and all sorts of drinks hot or cold. Upstairs terrace is a great place to get some sun with plenty of seating and sun loungers. Another bar also serving food and drinks. I needed to print out my boarding pass which the staff were happy to help me with for no charge. I had a late flight so i was able to leave me things in a storage room until it was time to leave, and that meant i could do some more sightseeing without having to worry about my things. They have security at the entrance, so it is nice and safe and very well looked after I paid around £51 for 2 nights. This made my stay great value for money. I will definitely be back and would also highly recommend 👌
The hostel it self is one of the best I have ever been to. Rooms are nice, have a separate bathroom, the beds are great, there are chargers next to the bed and a space to put your stuff. The communal space is beautiful, though the pool doesnt look good. But the terrace and everything is nice, the staff is kind and they even put football on. Food is expensive but alright. Why I have to give 2 stars is because the hostel is located in the Medina and it's a very dangerous area at night and we got robbed 2 minutes away from the hostel, so the location of the hostel is dangerous and bad!
it was beautiful - can't believe it's a hostel because we definitely felt like we were at a hotel the whole time. it was so clean and welcoming as soon as we steped in. it is a but further from the square but it was manageable. the terrace upstairs is just so peaceful and had so much room you never felt too crowded. the beds were comfortable and we were so happy to know their ac units also had heat! the shower was clean and powerful but later at night the hot water does run out so be mindful of that. overall i would highly recommend!
The staff was friendly and super helpful with any concerns or questions we had! The hostel was beautiful and the location was really convenient. We did have a few problems with our roommates in a shared room, but the staff helped mediate those disagreements as well and handled everything in a way that suited both parties. Overall great experience at The Central House!
Very beautiful with the rooftop and swimming pool. It’s also very modern. Great service (There’s a bell man that directly took your luggages up to your room so you don’t need to carry it by yourself). They also have some excursions that you can take from the hotels. The staffs also gave helpful information. Really appreciated the privacy of the dorm too. And each bed has their own power socket which is like the European standard for hostel with a cheap price
Stayed here for a brief solo holiday trip in Marrakesh - the hostel was absolutely delightful with an amazing courtyard and plenty of social/ chill spaces complete with clean and modern facilities - ideal for solo travellers. This is one of the most beautiful and comfortable hostels I've ever stayed in. However because of its several social spaces and lively atmosphere it can get quite busy (noisy) at night - thankfully I did not go during the peak holiday season and there weren't a lot of guests/ activities. The comfort also comes at a premium (you can likely find other riads offering a private room in the Medina district at similar prices) - but for a short visit this place is ideal.
The roof terrace and chilling areas are very nice and the sleeping areas clean. The reception staff are the best in Marrakesh in our opinion, specially Ahmed. They are friendly and gave us all the advice we needed for our stay there. Will book private room for more comfort next time.
