Riad Dar Zaman

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Zaman - from booking through to check out, the process was attentively and helpfully orchestrated by a superb team who handled everything with care and warmth. The Riad is beautiful and felt like home; the dinners were among the best we had in Marrakech; the rooftop patio is divine; daily breakfasts were tasty (though could perhaps benefit from some variability) and although the evenings and mornings in January were quite cold, when the fireplaces were roaring, it was cozy and lovely. In terms of the on-site staff - they were superb and made us feel as if we were visiting our home away from home and helped us settle in and feel comfortable navigating the city. We would stay again in a heartbeat - and hope to do so sooner than later.

100% recommend! We loved our time at Riad Dar Zaman, only wish it was longer. The room was clean and cozy. It felt very homely. Hassan was helpful and guided us through handling Marrakesh. The breakfast was also excellent.

We recently stayed at this beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina as an anchoring point so we could explore other areas of Morocco. The owner, Peter, and his trusty deputies Hassan and Ahmed looked after us superbly well, informing us of the best places Marrakech has to offer as well as how to be street savvy when dealing with opportunistic locals. Dar Zarman is unique, very clean, welcoming and has a roof terrace. It is located off the main thoroughfare of the souks and offers real peace and tranquility once inside. Breakfast is tasty and filling and will keep you going until lunch. Dar Zaman is not a commercial hotel but an authentic small one keeping with the vibe and splendour of the old city. We will definitely stay at Dar Zaman when we return to Marrakech.

The best experIence we want to repeat again! The stuff is very kindly and always worry with the guests. They really take care of us giving the best choices of visiting the city and the best way to do this. The room was very beautiful located on the terrace. The food is delicious made it with love. Wonderful place!

Lovely and small, but the best room in the house is on the top floor with a terrace. Otherwise the remaining rooms are a little small with only one having access to a small balcony.
