Just the most amazing restaurant we have visited during our 4 week tour of beautiful Morocco. The food and staff are exquisite on every visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fantastic restaurant..Enjoy folks Ian and Jane from England 🏴 🇬🇧 …
We stumbled across this place accidentally and stayed for dinner tonight. The decor was terrific, the background music unobtrusive, the food fantastic and the table service by Fatima was outstanding - thanks Fatima for giving us a wonderful first night in Fes 😀 …
We had a great meal here, our server was very attentive and took great care of us, they even accomodated a special birthday request for us!
It is a bit tricky arriving there through all the Medina small streets, but when you get there… it is AMAZING! Try it with confidence!
If you are looking for a great meal, kind staff, and an amazing atmosphere, you should come to ISHQ. The word “ishq” means passion, and you can truly taste that passion in the food. I can confidently say this was one of the best meals of my life. Growing up, I was the biggest vegetable hater, but this meal completely changed my perspective and made me appreciate how incredible vegetables can taste when prepared with care and creativity. Yassine was an incredible server, taking the time to recommend the best dishes, joke with us, and even help clean my sister’s shirt after she spilled food on it. I cannot recommend this place enough.
One of the best culinary experiences in Morocco. A must-visit if you're in Fes.
Beautiful restaurant with a stunning setting, but the food was a letdown. The pastilla meat was dry, and the black couscous was equally dry despite the soup served alongside it. The real issue was the sweetness level — caramelized sweet pumpkin as a side, and then inside the couscous they also added caramelized pumpkin and dates. It became sugar on top of sugar with no savory balance to cut through it. Come for the atmosphere, but manage your expectations on the food.
A great evening with beautifully prepared food from fresh ingredients and bursting flavour. The filet steak was like butter and cooked perfectly. The waiter made recommendations where appropriate which was very helpful. Good local wine from Meknes - Chateau Raslane. The tables on the terrace were too low for eating for my preference and the napkins were poor quality - not crisp clean cotton that I would expect in an establishment like this. Difficult to find as our internet connection was not good
