I'd love to take a moment and share how happy I am with my experience in this hotel, I spent two days and what I loved the most was the food. The quality and taste is so good I highly recommend you to try harira ( Moroccan soup) on breakfast and msmen as well it was a lovely experience that I never got in 5* star hotel. The service isn't the best they are a bit late serving anything but I'd personally tolerate that as they draw a smile on my face every time I eat. The room is good and comfortable. The hotel is near the old city and located in front of the beach. It's calm and people here are nice. It's my first time here and I could say they really made me happy.
This hotel is excellent. Melike, from reception, is the sweetest girl ever and she accomodated us quickly and super nicely. She helped us with directions and she is super calm and funny. Her English is also amazing! Everything in this hotel was to the highest standards: the room, the cleaningness, the food, the service. The beds were super clean and amazingly comfortable. The cotton was super soft and I checked the brand of the pillow and sheets as they were so soft and super nice. They are from a brand that is made in Morocco: La Maison de Blanc. I wanna go back and go to this shop now, as I just wanted to sleep and sleep when I was there. I never rested so well in my entire life. Also the shower was fantastic! Clean, perfect pressure, always 100 perfect temperature, big shower at the top and normal shower under. The gel smelled nice... I mean, there was not a single defect in that room! The breakfast is super complete. You have got it all! Natural orange juice, excellent coffee, pastries, eggs... There is always a super smiley girl making omelettes or eggs to your taste. The guys in the breakfast room are super kind as well, very professional. We will definitely come back again. The hotel has super nice rooms looking at the sea and the sunsets from the hotel over the island of Mogador are out of this world! Also, the distance to the medina is just perfect. We didn´t want to be in a Riad this time, as they are a bit dirty, so we wanted a proper hotel. I want to come back already! And will come back to Hotel Cote Ocean Mogador! Oh Also, I noticed that if you rent a car there is a space to park!
SCAM! Booked a room on Booking.com. The reservation stated that money would'nt be deducted until my stay. But they charged my card immediately. Also, cancellation would be free of charge until 5 May 23:59 hrs. I canceled the booking on 5 May 19:05 hrs, within the free cancellation range. I received a confirmation of this cancellation. It stated I would get my money back within 2 weeks. That didn't happen. After having contact with the accommodation they told me I would get it my money a.s.a.p. It has been 4 weeks since I canceled the booking and still didn't get my money back. When I went upset about that they just deleted our whole conversation in booking.com messenger so it was just gone and I couldn't reply to them any more. Very bad customer service. So glad I didn't stay here!!!! This is not a way to treat your customers or relations.
Amazing place, absolutely delightful staff, delicious breakfast. All in all, 5 stars! Thank you!
Awesome place right on the ocean. The ocean view room was perfect to watch the sunset and hear the waves.
Amazing place for the view over the Atlantic Coast of Morocco
I received an extremely warm welcomed by a gentleman named AbdderRahim whom not only gave a remarkable experience in the restaurant, he went on to provide invaluable knowledge of Essaouira. On the terrace the experience was highlighted with the unbelievable service from Hamid. The coffee was perfect, the cakes were amazing. The service here is simply astonishing. I highly recommend coming here for the service, experience and the view of the beach. If you haven't been here, you are missing out on a pure gem of Essaouira. 10 star service.
The rooms were ok although the windows were and dirty on the outside. the tv has 1500 channels but no one of them is in English so if you dont speak arabic Deutsch or french forget about watching tv. The waiters of the cafe don't understand what you say but say that they did and then you realize you've been waiting for them to bring you something but they don't even know that its missing. The entrance of the hotel smells like anti bug sprays.
