Very good for a nice breakfast

As a loyal customer for several years, it is with great regret that I write this review today. This café, which I used to enjoy so much for my breakfasts, has unfortunately changed considerably. Here is what I have bitterly observed recently: Uneven and unfair service: The staff no longer treats all customers the same. There is a clear difference in treatment ("it's based on favoritism"): some receive a big smile and quick service, while others (including myself recently) are practically ignored. A blatant decline in quality: The products served at breakfast are no longer up to the standard they used to be. Deteriorating service: The wait is longer, friendliness is not always present, and professionalism has disappeared. Sharply rising prices: Paying more for much lower quality and service has become unjustifiable. I don't understand this change in behavior towards customers who have supported you for years. It's a shame, but if things don't improve, I won't be back.

Extremely disappointed by the complete decline of this café. The quality of the food and service has plummeted, while the prices keep going up. Eating here has become a gamble: one day it's more or less acceptable, and the next it's an absolute disaster where nothing is good or even decent. Yet, we still pay top dollar. I'm extremely unhappy with this constant drop in standards. Avoid it at all costs; I'll never set foot in this place again.

Our go-to café/restaurant when we come to Tangier on holiday. The welcome, the meals, everything is great. Thank you and see you next year, God willing.

At Lechería or Café Amsterdam, we had a wonderful breakfast. They have many breakfast options (with toast, cheese, cold cuts (except pork), boiled or fried eggs, avocado, tuna, tapenade, grated tomato, pesto, cheese wedges, croissants, pastries, jam, butter, etc. They also include chopped figs, vanilla or pistachio yogurt, and olives to start), crepes, very juicy omelets, and very complete combo meals from 45 to 70 DH, with tea or coffee (even juice) and water. The mint tea was delicious. Excellent service and a spacious and comfortable place.
