Great landscape
A very warm welcome, pleasant surroundings, secluded but still quite close to Midelt. The hostel has been recently renovated, with updated heating and air conditioning. The food is good and reasonably priced.
I don't understand the 4-star rating on Google… It's not a hostel, it's a dump! While the building may have once had a certain elegance (see the photos on Google), it's definitely from another era… The walls and floors are damaged. Some things, like the coffee tablecloth and the rug, are dirty, as are the shower and the sink (with toothpaste on them). The room, near the restaurant, offers absolutely no soundproofing—a real treat for sleeping! There's even a security gate when you enter the hotel! The surroundings are truly delightful… I wouldn't have commented on this, but the 300-meter walk to the hostel requires a 4x4. Oh yes, it's very expensive for what it is, 400 dirhams for half-board (the food: I think, and the other guests agree, was processed food… You really have to try to eat badly in Morocco!). For 150 dirhams more, I could have stayed in a hotel of a completely different category in town. If I had known, I wouldn't have hesitated, but it was a last-minute decision. Avoid it, as you've probably gathered!!! (PS: To give you an idea of my objectivity, out of my 10 days in Morocco, this is the only establishment that shocked me! The others were excellent).
Very good, friendly and quick service for both the food and the prices
