As an American, I always look for authentic places that represent the culture in which they exist. Between friends reminds me of cafés I grew up going to in New York City. The staff are unremittingly friendly, generous and kind. Their coffee is excellent and their food is quite good, with a wide menu of options. I've only been in Rabat a short time, but already consider many there to be friends. I love Morocco and its people, and this is a great place to get a sampling of that culture. Special thanks to Ghassane, Hicham, Hamza, Hassan, Iman, Jawad, and every other employee for making an obvious foreigner feel welcome. Could not recommend more highly for soccer (not football) games, (go Barza!) and willing companionship among the bright and engaging minds of Morocco. Also highly recommend Google translate for accurate communication, especially if you are a monolingual plebe like most of us Americans. Inshallah we will improve and learn more ways to communicate, like you guys model so well.
