The Sultana Riad was a fantastic choice for our stay in Tangier! Mohamed and Bilal were incredibly kind and two of the nicest people we met here. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was delicious, served on the terrace with a stunning view over the Medina. Our room, complete with AC, was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Its central location was ideal, with many attractions within walking distance. We were also glad we booked the taxi driver through the Riad. He picked us up from the airport and walked us to the door at night, all at a fixed and reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Wonderful new Riad recently opened near the Casbah in Tangier. Although rooms were smaller than average riads, they worked well. Location was confusing at first with no signage but it made us put google maps away and concentrate on our surroundings. Proximity to marina a real plus. Breakfast on the terrace was above expectations.

The location is excellent, and breakfast on the panoramic terrace is a true rejuvenation for both body and mind. I recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Tangier medina. They also provide a very useful airport transfer service, even if you arrive very late (I arrived at 2:00 in the morning).

The riad has been completely renovated and is very well finished, which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The room is clean and simply decorated. The service is friendly, and the breakfast on the terrace is excellent. Why four stars? It's a bit expensive for such a small room without air conditioning; we were very hot, despite opening the windows onto the medina, which allowed us to enjoy the terrace opposite (just a meter high) all night – we didn't sleep at all… I imagine the rooms facing the interior are even hotter. What a shame!
