Riad Ksar Maison d'hôtes

The Place is very very basic and old, not worth the money they ask. You can find better and cheaper in most places of Europe! Residence is very very small, no pool, no garden, no balcony, no view from the windows. But the real problem are the reception. Incredibly rude. I taked a room with my cousin and from the first night when we go out they asked him the key of the room. Never see in any place that you asked to leave obligatory the key. But the real problem started the second day. I asked if I can book the next day and if there is a discount for the second day for direct booking. No discount, they even asked me more money from Booking. I said to the receptionist that I will think if I extend for 2 hours and if I can leave baggage for 2 hours, she rolled her eyes like I asked her something huge and told me that she will open the room for anybody, can't wait even 2 hours! In the end I decided to extend and she returned to me asking me in a very aggressive way to pay now even if I told her that I pay as usually at checkout. They have my data and my car, so why the rush? Not only this place is very overpriced for what he had to offer (very old, very little, no balcony, no garden, no beautiful view, weeeak wifi) but the staff and the hotel rules suckkkss! Never again!

Excellent welcome and a tourist free location. So well worth the effort to get here!

We arrived and left immediately due to the poor level of care and cleanliness. The sheets hadn't been changed, the bathroom smelled bad, and they hadn't even cleaned the toilet. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Despite losing our money, we decided to go to another hotel. Besides, it was one of the most expensive riads in the area.

Azeddine gave us a very warm and attentive welcome. Don't hesitate to ask him for some good recommendations. The hotel is charming and typical, located in the heart of the Portuguese city. We were able to park our car just steps from the Riad, inside the city walls, which was very convenient.

Everything! But especially Azdin's warm welcome. He was incredibly attentive all week, so kind and helpful, and we enjoyed conversations about his country on the riad's terrace... A truly wonderful man! Hania's welcome at reception was also fantastic, discreet and kind. It's a very charming little riad, a wonderful place to relax, in a city where you'll discover the authentic Morocco, with its sunshine and the warm hospitality of its people, which lives up to its reputation. The bedding is impeccable, the breakfast is more than generous, with freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and a variety of Moroccan and European specialties. The upstairs terrace, a mix of sun and shade, is perfect for relaxing with a beer or mint tea. In short, we're already looking forward to visiting El Jadida again on our next trip to Morocco.

A very warm welcome and charming service; the room was simple but had everything you needed. Excellent value for money. The terrace bar was a real pleasure.

Azzedine was super kind and accommodating, offering us Moroccan tea as soon as we arrived and having an interesting conversation about the history of the city.

Best riad in the Portuguese city. I recommend contacting the riad staff for rentals in the beautiful city of El Jadida.
