We also discovered the lovely story of the owners. In the 1970s, a man named Herald Wittsman arrived in Agadir from Norway, where he worked as a fisherman. He met his Moroccan wife there and never left Morocco. Later, the couple bought a family home in El Ouatia, which was subsequently converted into the hotel where we are staying tonight. The establishment is managed by their daughter, Aïcha, with the help of her mother and a few friends. The riad, located right on the beach, is overflowing with charm and hospitality.
