This is one of the best restaurants in Essaouira. We have been visiting for 20 years and it is always our first stop on arrival. The service and welcome from Simo and his team is wonderful, food is creative and delicious. The restaurant is cosy with wonderful ambience. Highly recommended!

Lovely calm cosy ambiance, a little unusual! Generous portions, colourful and always a surprising element to the dishes. The owner is sweet and very conscientious, as are the waiting staff. This restaurant is off the beaten track and definitely has its distinctive style, being a fusion of Moroccan and other traditions. If you also care about how staff are treated when enjoying a delicious meal, you can rest assured asthe restaurant is run like a cooperative. Everything is made in the kitchen except for the Briouat pastry, made by an expert lady just before evening service. It is perfect pastry, in case you were asking!! (I like finding out about places). In a town where so many dishes resemble each other, it is a refreshing stop!

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. However, the food is average and more expensive than most places in town. We came hear on a recommendation from our hotel. We regretted our decision to follow their advice. Search around for better food and better prices.

What an amazing little restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic Moroccan dishes that were flavorful as well as beautifully presented. We had a lamb tagine, vegetable tagine and saffron cream brûlée. But what really stood out was the exceptional service - friendly, warm and helpful staff who always had a smile. I can’t recommend this restaurant more!

we loved this place so much that we came back again on our last night in essaouira. the food was absolutes delicious and freshly made - the couscous and tajine are a must try! the atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, with a fall and welcoming vibe. service was super friendly and we felt completely at home:) portions are generous, and they kindlich packed up what we couldnt finish. truly one of the best dining expériences we has in essaouira- highly recommend!
