Now, I'm not an expert on Moroccan food but had an amazing pastilla the day before at a different restaurant and had eaten tagines and cous-cous non stop in my week there. I had a vegetarian pastilla here rather than the more common chicken variety - to be honest it really didn't taste of much and there was very little of the sweet and savoury taste. Very disappointed. I've given 3 stars solely because the separate egg-plant was really amazing.

Going to this place is an experience and you need to be patient to wait for your food but believe me it's worth it (one man doing it all)! The eggplant is a must to order! Lovely typical place in the middle of the busy medina. On top of that the owner speaks perfect Spanish and French!

A great place to have authentic moroccan food with amazing service. The prices are fantastic for the 3 course meal and the portion size.

My wife and I ordered the set menu with harira soup, chicken pastilla, and a fruit plate plus an extra beef tagine. Before ordering, we specifically asked for no coriander because my wife dislikes it and I do not really enjoy it either. We were told that none of the dishes had coriander. The harira soup arrived with a very strong coriander smell and taste. When I mentioned this, the owner(i assume) said it was not important because we did not have an allergy. He did not apologise and did not seem concerned. Instead, he kept saying there was only a little coriander in it which is not true you can just see the leaves from the picture itself, that coriander is healthy and that we should get used to the taste. The issue for me was not the coriander itself but the fact that we specifically asked about it beforehand and were given incorrect information. If he had simply acknowledged the mistake and apologised, I would have left with a better impression. The beef tagine was also disappointing. It contained a chunk of bone and very little meat. As shown in the photo, there were actually more dates than pieces of meat. The chicken pastilla was nice definitely the best thing on the table and the prices were reasonable but overall the experience was negative. I do not understand how this place has so many five-star reviews.

Excellent food and hospitality. I tried the traditional Fes delicacy Tagine Pruneaux aux Amandes au Bœuf, recommended by Amine, and it was absolutely delicious. Amine was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended
