If you're thinking of booking this place with Youssef through booking.com, don't. We've stayed in many budget accommodations in Morocco, and this one is simply awful. - The location on booking.com is incorrect; it's nearly impossible to find. - The security guards who have the key are completely clueless and don't seem to care. - Everything is filthy. - The door is broken. After dinner (and a trip to the supermarket for toilet paper), we were seriously worried we wouldn't be able to get back into the accommodation to our luggage until, after much trial and error, it finally worked. - No toilet paper. - Beard hairs in the sink. - Used toothbrushes in the bathroom. - Beds weren't made (you'll find used, dirty sheets with huge stains in the closets—we ended up using our hammam towels as blankets). - The pool wasn't in use at the beginning of April and was full of dirt and algae. Seriously, find somewhere else to stay.

This is an incredible residence, the pool is amazing, I love it, I highly recommend it.

Very good at everything

Unfortunately, this was the first truly bad experience with accommodation on this trip. Communication with Youssef was a disaster; it was more important that we pay the city tax in advance than that we have toilet paper. The location listed on Booking.com doesn't match the actual location. The security guards knew nothing about our arrival and then spent 10 minutes with us trying to open the rusty lock on the apartment. There was no toilet paper in the apartment, used toothbrushes were lying around, there were no sheets, and the "bed linen" was covered in stains... we ended up making something out of wool blankets. The pool was full of algae and therefore unusable. Booking there was a complete mistake, and we left first thing in the morning.
