Miami Ray's : Café & Restaurant

On my first visit I was greeted by this very polite gentleman, I felt welcomed and special but the next day one of the servers told me that they did not serve any breakfast that day, mind you it was 9:55 ish in the morning.

Nice atmosphère and excellent service and the food is better than the most cafe I've been in.

Food tastes so good, service is awful and words can’t describe the atmosphere.

Nice and calm place, but the owner needs to work on bringing the service up to the standards. I had to look for a server to provide me with service while the restaurant was fairly empty.

After seeing an Ad on instagram about this café it looked like my next favorite spot that i will be visiting everytime. But, fortunately, it had to be my first and last visit and here is why. Me and my date ordered a Kit-kat Milkshake and a Tropical Smoothie as you can see in the picture. After receiving our beverages that look delicious and well served. We jumped into our drinks and to our surprise: The Tropical Smoothie (38dh): the smoothies was made with fruits and WATER, and it was obvious by the texture and foamy very light liquid, as someone who has a natural juice stand at home, i can taste and smell the difference easily and i was very disappointed and disgusted about how cheap the Barista or Café owner was, whoever made the recipe. The KitKat Milkshake (42dh): The Whipped cream tasted sour (probably made at least a day before and poorly stored) and had tiny particles that you could feel on your tongue as it was not well mixed, let alone the horrible taste because it's very cheap liquid cream, 2 kitkat fingers and some chocolat syrup and im surprised that the milkshake itself tasted good like if it was mixed ice cream which is good 👍 As much as i couldn't believe what i was tasting i didn't want to make a big deal about it infront of my date who was disappointed too and we were planning to have dinner there too but were too disappointed that everything was a turn off. The view: the view is good if you come after sunset as there are some constructions in front of the café by the river and the night camouflages it which turns into a romantic and calm scenery. The pricing: the pricing is relatively high for the terrible quality of drinks and compared to neighboring Cafés such as Cappucino where i had an amazing experience (check my review about it). Extras: if you don't care about drinks and just want to digest whatever they throw at you, this might be an okay experience for you. Also, if you're fan of cats you will see some cute stray cats playing and running around. Advise to owner: please invest in better ingredients and try to invest in the long run by supervising the quality and avoid losing precious customers.
