During an 8 day stay we ate here 4 times. 2 tagines, lobster and schrimp pilpil. The food was always excellent, and so was the hospitality. Highly recommended!

A very popular place to eat - delicious food with excellent friendly service. We loved the Chicken and Almond Pastilla but, all the best of Moroccan cuisine is served here.

The culinary offerings were unsatisfactory. The portion sizes were inadequate, and the flavor profile was unappealing yet the price on the higher end. Furthermore, my companion experienced a gastrointestinal illness following after an eight-day travel period. The establishment advertises credit card payment options; however, this service was unavailable due to an alleged malfunction. However the Staff was quite friendly.

This is our favourite restaurant whenever we go out for authentic Moroccan food! The food is always delicious, fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff are welcoming and the service is excellent. Fatima often serves us and she always greets us with a smile and is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and decor is warm, relaxed, and inviting, with indoor and outside seating, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. We have a lovely time at La Tolerance every time we eat there and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Essaouira.

Really great meal! I had beef tagine and my husband had grilled squid. Our waitress was so sweet and nice with our daughter. The decor was cool too. I wish we'd gotten the chance to go back before leaving Essouria.
