I was very disappointed with my experience at La Parisienne bakery in Oujda. I ordered a cake for about 20 people, for 450 DH. The cake weighed approximately 2.5 kg. When I placed the order, they offered me a taste of a cake called, if I remember correctly, the Saint-Michel, which I thought was good. So that's the one I chose. Unfortunately, the cake I received was nothing like the one I had tasted. There was an enormous amount of cream around the cake, easily close to a kilo, with a very dark cream that stained my fingers, lips, and even my teeth. The taste was very strange, and the pastry cream was frankly awful. I find it particularly regrettable to offer a taste of a product that seems good when you place the order, and then give you a completely different cake when you pick it up. For 450 DH, I find this truly disappointing, and I consider the value for money to be absolutely not there. I strongly advise against this bakery for cakes. Avoid it.

I was satisfied last year, but this year I'm changing my review. I was very disappointed by the welcome and the staff's behavior. I found them completely unprofessional, chatting amongst themselves while customers waited to be served. As for the pastries, the quality has dropped significantly. The trompe-l'œil cakes are mostly filled with cream and aren't good. The cheesecake is full of gelatin. In short, the quality of the pastries and the service is no longer up to par!

La Parisienne Ice: The flavors offered are original: dragon fruit, Raffaello, fig… The prices are reasonable, and the small terrace is pleasant.

A beautiful pastry shop unfortunately cannot compensate for a lack of professionalism and respect from the staff. Respect for customers should be the foundation. Perhaps as much investment should be made in customer service as in the pastry shop's decoration.

The service was great. I came to try the trompe-l'œil pastries in November, which were excellent, by the way. Today, I tried the same ones. It's a shame they changed the recipe because the praline in the middle was better in the pistachio. The cream isn't the same as before; it's sweeter.
