Simply fantastic

Lovely Riad in the city centre. Ideal location for the markets and restaurants. 15 minute walk to the beach and port. Rooms are clean and all the staff are very pleasant and can’t do enough to help. Lovely roof top area for sunbathing and outside dining where the breakfast is served. Breakfast was excellent with orange juice fresh fruit and yoghurt with pancakes and bread. Unlimited coffee or tea. Overall we had an excellent 4 days here exploring Essauora

If you are looking for a resort on the beach, this is not it. If you are looking for an upscale hotel/ b&b with Moroccan details and friendly staff on the edge of the old city and sea view, this is your place. The outside does not look like much but inside is a clean new hotel with lots of local aspects in each room. Breakfast is great.

Stayed here 2 nights. It was our first time in a riad. Staff was super friendly and the room was very clean. No TV or AC. Safe in room. Very fast wifi. Really nice view from rooftop. It's easy to navigate from the Supratours bus station. Great location! Would recommend/stay again.

Ideally located, it's beautiful, clean, refined, warm, and smells wonderfully of orange blossom. At La Fontaine Bleu, the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. Hafida, her husband Abdou, and the staff are very kind and welcoming, always with a smile. I recommend it 100% and would return without hesitation if I were to visit Essaouira again.

The riad is superb, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean; the rooms are immaculate. Breakfast was very generous and varied, prepared with kindness by Sarah. We ate there two evenings, and the meals were excellent! I highly recommend it. And finally, Hafida and Abdou are charming, very friendly, attentive, and offered great advice. They will definitely be back.

The value for money is average for this riad located in a dark and unsavory area of ​​Essaouira's old medina. The sea view is spoiled by an open-air garbage dump under the windows. The small breakfast is plentiful and good. It's clean, and the decor is fairly tasteful, although heavy and dark. The rooms are relatively small. Furthermore, the establishment does not accept credit cards! Given the price of the rooms, you would have to significantly increase your withdrawal limits. To top it all off, we were met with a persistent smell of tobacco that mingled with the dampness of the walls 😨.

One of the best riads! Beautiful, clean, and peaceful. We felt right at home with Hafida and her husband, who are incredibly kind and welcoming. We didn't want to leave and had to continue our trip because it was so wonderful! I highly recommend it!!!
