Dr. Ragtaoui Abdellatif

I will never forget this story, which happened to me in 2005 with Dr. Ragtaoui, a pediatrician from Essaouira. At the time, my son was seriously ill, and in the city where I lived, several doctors couldn't diagnose his illness. Given the severity of his condition, I was advised to take him to Casablanca. I finally decided to go to El Jadida, the nearest city. I wanted to consult a renowned pediatrician (Dr. Dorachad), but unfortunately, he was abroad and was being replaced by a doctor from Essaouira (Dr. Ragtaoui). I didn't really have a choice, so I went to his office. From the very first examination, this doctor (Dr. Ragtaoui) understood what was wrong with my son. He immediately told me, “We need to take him to the nearest clinic and have him admitted to intensive care.” I was impressed by the speed and, above all, the accuracy of his diagnosis. He did his duty with professionalism, compassion, and dedication. My son received timely care, he recovered, and today he is a doctor himself. Some encounters are not mere coincidences. That day, I met a doctor who, through his knowledge and responsiveness, profoundly impacted our lives. Thank you, Doctor. You treated my son, but you also unknowingly helped give him the chance to become a doctor himself. After God, I will never forget what you did for him. I will be eternally grateful.

Bad experience and poor treatment of children. He treats the child arrogantly, haughtily, and without a smile.

I strongly advise against going there. I went in as an emergency for my 11-month-old son who was suffering from diarrhea, and the consultation lasted barely two minutes. The doctor didn't take the time to listen to us or examine the child properly. We left without clear answers and with the feeling that we were bothering him. A complete lack of professionalism and empathy for a pediatrician.
