On 2 september 2026 My friend and I both became seriously ill after eating a salad at this restaurant. The symptoms started about two days after the meal and ruined our entire weekend. We lost valuable time because of food poisoning. They served us poison. The hygiene standards and food storage practices are clearly not respected. Food safety is not something to take lightly this is playing with people’s health and lives. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

We had an exceptional meal at Don Calamar! The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, and the prices are very fair and reasonable for the quality served. The staff was fantastic—always smiling, attentive, and very professional. Highly recommended if you're looking for great seafood and top-notch service!

We went to this restaurant with our family while visiting Morocco, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I ordered a Moroccan salad, but I was served a tuna salad with tomatoes instead. When I pointed this out to the waiter (who was probably the owner), he reacted in a very arrogant way and insisted that this was their “Moroccan salad,” even though it was clearly not what we ordered or expected. On top of that, we were charged for items we never received. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the waiter accused us of having received the food and the fish, which was simply not true. The drinks were also served extremely late, which was especially unpleasant because the restaurant was very warm. It felt like this was done deliberately after we complained, which made the experience even worse. The food itself was also disappointing: very oily, not particularly tasty, and far too expensive for the quality. The worst part was the attitude and the lack of respect towards customers. The arrogance and poor service completely ruined our family meal. Definitely not recommended. I would give zero stars if that were possible. Never again.
