A deeply frustrating visit. I went to this place with high expectations, only to be told that they serve alcoholic drinks only—and was essentially turned away at the door. As a Moroccan, this felt incredibly disrespectful. We’re in a Muslim-majority country where many people choose not to drink, yet it seems this venue is far more interested in serving tourists than welcoming locals. It’s disheartening to be made to feel like a stranger in my own country. I was genuinely excited to check this place out, but they completely soured the experience. I sincerely hope they rethink their policy and start treating Moroccan customers with the respect they deserve.

Beautiful house, wonderful staff, great food. Stayed here two nights. This was the nicest room we had in Morocco; would be a great room anywhere. Separate sleeping and sitting areas and a good bathroom. Gorgeous view from the bedroom window and excellent air circulation. Multiple levels of roof deck give a great 360° view of the entire kasbah and medina. Actually easy to get to the hotel from the main gate to the kasbah, and a short walk from the hotel to the medina. Breakfast of fruit, breads, juices, coffee and tea was delicious and right outside our door. Cannot recommend more highly.

Terrible service, servers who speak very rudely to customers... VERY DISAPPOINTED, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Very pretty hotel with lovely terrace views. Good price and good location. We found some of the staff to be friendly and one in particular to be rude and unkind (have read similar reviews which makes sense now after staying there). Generally staff was hard to find when we needed help checking in or out (there is no front desk and different people just kind of float around). Probably will choose somewhere else for my next stay.

We loved the variety and quality of the breakfast. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The decor was beautiful and in keeping with the local culture. The rooftop terrace was the most beautiful one I have ever been to! We felt very lucky to eat breakfast there and to chill out in the cool evenings. It was the highlight of our stay in Morocco.

Slightly quirky, super friendly, lovely place hidden amongst narrow whitewashed streets. Decorated and run clearly with love and care. No ikea here. Books to read in the room, art and so on really make a difference. Stayed one very pleasant night, wished was longer. Really lovely roof terraces with drinks bar great for evening relax. Breakfast on a rooftop terrace a lovely location, reminded me of Greece, welcoming and great views. Breakfast also brilliant for the cost with lots of fruit a real and welcome change to bread bread and bread. Any negatives? Possibly just that any late night returns do echo up staircase. For the price, wholeheartedly recommend, the sort of place I would suggest to friends as a real find and made a return to Tanger very tempting.
