Dar Baba Restaurant & More

This was my third visit to the gorgeous Dar Baba and its exquisite food. The house itself is stunning and every menu item I have had is delicious. The service and wait staff are professional and kind and attentive. Dar Baba is truly a special experience.

This is a good place for a break from Moroccan culture. The cocktails were very good but equally expensive. The food, specifically the crispy brie and the patatas bravas, was not at all like the pictures of what other guests on Google got. I ordered them because of the rave reviews but there was hardly any sauce for the patatas bravas vs other pictures from past guests. The brie was good but nothing special. The warm goat cheese salad was not warm at all. When I told them, they said: it's only the outside that gets warmed. I said that it wasn't warm at all though. They took it in the back, and brought it back out as if they just microwaved it. The mixed seafood platter was alright. Portion size was enough. The servers were otherwise attentive. I was seated exactly where two cushions met, so it was quite uncomfortable the whole evening. Due to the tables being so close to each other, there was no possibility of readjusting/not sitting directly in the cushion crevice. The music being played were dance hits like ABBA.

I was having dinner yesterday in Dar Baba and it was an amazing experience. The food is so good and the staff make you feel like at home Khadija gave me the welcome in a super good English and she show me the whole place, Hassan was also so good and Zacarias was my waiter, he was very professional and careful with me and I enjoy with his sense of humor. Later I took a coktel at the bar I gave them the choice to surprise me. And they did with the Medina special coktel. What a fantasy

This place has very nice vibe. Lamb fish was amazing, catch of the day was good but a bit too dry. Quit a few things from the menu were not available, one of them - octopus - my reason to come. Classic margarita was made with lemon juice and not lime (made quite a bit difference in the taste), was still good.

This was delightful experience. Oussama service was top quality. We ate there for our Daughter's birthday. The food was awesome, tasty & abundant! We had great wine, the staff sang a birthday song that we will remember for a long time. The music & the cozy ambiance contribute to the great night. The price was great comparing to the overall experience.
