Café Oasis

Every time my identical twin brother and I stayed in Taroudant, we always enjoyed Café Oasis, a popular café and restaurant directly on Place Assarag. It's across a narrow road from the Hôtel Taroudant, which unfortunately has now permanently closed. Café Oasis serves a variety of foods including breakfasts, pizzas, tajines and couscous. There is strong WiFI, but the service can sometimes be slow. Inside, to the left of the counter, are clean toilets. It is a pleasant spot in Taroudant to have a break, and you might enjoy watching the people on Place Assarag, the horse and buggy carriages, and the cars and motorbikes. While it is not air-conditioned, it is comfortable inside or under the awning of the terrace. There is a large flat-screen television that shows mainly sports channels.

Beautiful Cafe, beautiful location

I was very disappointed with my visit to Café Restaurant Oasis in Taroudant. My order was 30 minutes late, and instead of the burgers I ordered, I received poor-quality sandwiches. The service was truly awful. I do not recommend it!

Far too noisy. Bland, tasteless, and very rough food. We ordered burgers for the children and received tasteless, greasy ground beef sandwiches with a single lettuce leaf and a haphazardly placed tomato. The waiter even had the nerve to tell me, "That's how burgers are." Don't go there for the service or the food.

Good price and good product

We didn't have a chance to eat, so I can't judge the food. We popped in for coffee. It's a pretty cool place – you can sit practically on the street, overlooking the main square. We paid 24 dirhams for two coffees.
