Hotel Albaraka

I was encouraged by the reviews, but in the end, it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! The breakfast was pathetic, stale and cold. To make matters worse, on the day of our departure (group of 15), we had given notice of our 7:00 AM departure, and breakfast was scheduled for 6:30 AM, only to be served cold coffee and leftovers from the previous day. The rooms are small, the linens (sheets and towels) weren't changed all week, and the staff are clearly NOT trained in hospitality or welcoming guests! I do not recommend this hotel; it ruined my stay 😡😡😡😡😡😡

I find the "SUPERB" rating completely unrealistic. Firstly, I chose to share my opinion for both institutional and professional reasons, as I travel three-quarters of the year for business trips. The reception lacks professionalism. There is no hospitality on arrival or departure, and information is only provided if requested. The driver of the free shuttle was angry because he waited for me at the airport, even though I had specified in the reservation that a rental car was available upon arrival. I had to search among the people at the exit for my name or the hotel's name while waiting for the rental car. The hotel does not have parking as advertised; parking is on the street, and there is no swimming pool or air conditioning. The only advantage is that the room is large enough for more than one person, but when I took a shower, it got completely wet because the bathroom door isn't airtight and is made of wood with a light-reflecting design that lets steam into the room (it needs to be covered with glass or plexiglass to make the bathroom door airtight). There was only one used shower towel and one hand towel. The soap and shampoo were standard (not justified by the price), so it's best to bring your own toiletries. There was no hairdryer. The room didn't have air conditioning. The bed linens were standard and worn (not justified by the price), and there were no extra blankets. The wardrobe had no shelves and no safe. Breakfast, which wasn't a buffet (not justified by the price), was offered for 20 DH but cost 50 DH. I arrived in Dakhla on the night of March 2nd, 2017, from Fez after three days of work. I stayed in a place in the city center for 400 DH, which was better than this one. I find the price far too high (Superb!!!?), I really don't rate it as good, and it shouldn't exceed 350 DH per day. It's too expensive for what you get!

Warning! If you are told you have to go to the annex, do not accept and look for another hotel. It's a big lie; it's just another hotel located in the same area. الكونيكسيون زبااااالة الدوش مضيييق وخاصو يتبدل

The Baraka Hotel is excellent! The manager and staff are very friendly. The bedding is excellent. The hotel is very clean and close to the city center. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very satisfied!

The price-quality ratio is really high for the services provided (no air conditioning, cramped bathroom, no fridge and a very damp room!!!)
